Carmen feels that she has found success in every aspect of her life – except for her weight.


“This is the one area of my life that I’ve had the most trouble with.”

At 200 lbs., she blames her struggles with weight on stress and a busy lifestyle. She said the A New Way to a New You program has opened her eyes to a new way of life and has taught her how to prioritize her lifestyle so that she can make time for exercise and eating right.

“There’s no longer an excuse to say I don’t have 10 minutes a day to work out and make wiser food choices. Just because I’m on the go does not mean I can’t carry a bag of cut-up vegetables or fruits that would be healthier and keep me satisfied.”


She hopes the changes that she’ll be making over the next 12 weeks will inspire her family and friends to reach for optimal health in their lives.


“The A New Way to a New You program motivates me more than any other program I’ve ever seen because it focuses on achieving health in all aspects. (I’ve learned that) being optimally healthy is very different than being just slim. You can be slim and very unhealthy and not even know it.”
